Terms of Service
Welcome to dallasautoshipping.com (“Dallas Auto Shipping,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an informational website operated by AutoShippingNearMe.com. By accessing or using this website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What This Website Is
Dallas Auto Shipping provides general information about auto-transport services and lets you request a quote. When you submit a request, we may share it with one or more transport providers so they can contact you. Any transport agreement you enter into is between you and the provider — not with Dallas Auto Shipping.
2. We Are Not the Carrier
Unless expressly stated in a written agreement with you, Dallas Auto Shipping does not itself transport vehicles and is not a party to the transport contract. Transport is performed by independent motor carriers. We do not control and are not responsible for a provider’s licensing, insurance, scheduling, pricing, handling of your vehicle, or other conduct.
3. Verify Before You Hire
Because transport is performed by separate companies, you are responsible for verifying the credentials of any provider you choose to work with before paying a deposit or handing over your vehicle. See How to Check a Transporter’s Credentials below.
4. Quotes Are Estimates
Any price information provided through the site or by a provider is an estimate unless and until confirmed in a binding agreement with a transport provider. Final pricing, availability, and timing are set by the provider and may depend on route, vehicle, season, and carrier availability.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information when requesting a quote.
- Verify any provider’s credentials and read their terms before hiring them.
- Use the website lawfully and not for fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
- Not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or interfere with the website or its security.
6. Intellectual Property
The content, design, logos, and materials on this website are owned by AutoShippingNearMe.com or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without permission.
7. Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information is complete or current. We make no warranty regarding any transport provider or the outcome of any transport.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoShippingNearMe.com and Dallas Auto Shipping, and their owners, operators, and affiliates, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or damage arising from: (a) your use of the website; (b) any dealings with, or services provided by, a transport provider; or (c) any damage to or loss of a vehicle during transport. Any transport claims are between you and the provider.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoShippingNearMe.com and Dallas Auto Shipping from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the website or your dealings with any transport provider, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Third-Party Links
The site may link to third-party websites, including transport providers and other sites in our network. We are not responsible for the content, services, or practices of those sites.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where superseded by applicable federal law.

How to Check a Transporter’s Credentials
Before you pay a deposit or hand over your vehicle, take a few minutes to confirm the company you’re hiring is properly registered and insured.
Get their USDOT or MC number
Ask the company for its USDOT number and/or MC (Motor Carrier) number. A legitimate carrier or broker will provide this without hesitation — it’s public information.
Look them up on the FMCSA
Enter that number in the FMCSA’s free public tools to confirm registration, operating status, and whether they’re authorized as a carrier, broker, or both:
Confirm active authority & insurance
Check that the operating authority is active (not revoked) and that insurance is on file. Ask for a certificate of insurance if you want written confirmation.
Read independent reviews
Search the company name plus its USDOT/MC number. Look for a consistent track record — not a handful of five-star reviews all posted in one week.
Get the agreement in writing
Before paying, get price, pickup window, delivery terms, and the cancellation/deposit policy in writing. Be cautious about large upfront deposits.
Red flags to watch for
- Refusal or reluctance to share a USDOT or MC number
- No verifiable operating authority or insurance on the FMCSA lookup
- Pressure to pay a large deposit immediately, especially by wire or gift card
- A quote far below every other quote you’ve received
- No written agreement, or vague answers about pricing and timing
- No physical address or working contact information
